What We Do

Each Thursday, a group of volunteers gather to prepare hot meals to deliver to people experiencing hardship in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. If you'd like to volunteer, there are opportunities to prepare the food in the FCCB kitchen at 9am or you can help distribute the meals and hygiene items at 1:00pm. If you'd like to support in other ways, please consider purchasing items from their wish list. You can view it here.

Financial Donation

Making a financial donation is a great way to start healing our community. All donations go through our partners at First Christian Church of Burbank so it is tax deductable.

Supplies Donation

We've created an Amazon Wishlist of toiletries, clothing, and other necessities that we pack and distribute on Thursdays. Purchasing specific supplies is a great opportunity to help us serve our community.

Homemade Thursdays Youth Volunteers

Packing Team

Volunteer shifts are available on Thursdays for team members who assist with packing of the food, sorting donated clothing, and sorting toiletries. If you're someone who wants to be hands on, this is the role for you.

Volunteer shifts are available on Thursdays for team members who assist with distributing food, clothing, and toiletries. These positions are safe and gratifying to those who love meeting new people and believe in dignity for all.

Advocacy Team

We are seeking dedicated people to join our Advocacy Team. With your help we can expand our outreach goals of serving all people in need. Seniors, Victims of Domestic Violence, the LGBTQIA+ Communities, People with Special Needs, and People experiencing Homelessness.

Members of our Services Team connect people with services that address their specific needs. Whether its through our organization or the First Christian Church of Burbank or someone else, you'll be a point of contact for people in need.
